Today we went on four adventures, two familiar ones, one that was too foggy to blog about (well take photos), and the one I will be blogging about today, Bass Beach.
Today, Wilma, Gus, and I Adventured to Bass Beach in Rye, New Hampshire. Bass Beach is a small, rocky beach that is popular for surfers, sea glass hunters, and those who enjoy watching and relaxing on shore. Dogs are welcome on the beach during off-season and assigned hours in peak season.
We had a rock-filled Adventure to Bass Beach. We arrived about 6:30 in the morning and climbed the rock hill up and over to then arrive at the beach. It was definitely an adventure getting down the rocks with two leashed dogs, but we arrived safely, no bumps or bruises (haha). There was no one else in sight, although I did spot some surfers from afar. The beach was full of rocks and a little difficult to walk, I almost felt like I was stumbling along. Wilma especially did not seem to appreciate the unpredictable footing, and neither wanted to get close to the water after hearing the lapping of the waves. We walked on the beach, and up above the beach to get the full experience of Bass Beach. The sun was rising but the sky was somewhat hazy so not the gorgeous sunset you hope for on an early morning Adventure. However so glad we could check out Bass Beach today (Rating: 3).
