October 16, 2020 – Portsmouth, New Hampshire

Today Wilma and I Adventured to downtown Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Portsmouth, New Hampshire is a port town along the Piscataqua River. The downtown area is known for shopping, restaurants, parks, and lodging.

We had a rainy Adventure to Portsmouth, New Hampshire, because who does not go to Portsmouth with their dog on a rainy Friday night (haha). I sometimes forget how adorable downtown Portsmouth is as I have not been there often. Although geared for shoppers and diners we enjoyed our walk. There was artwork along some of the walls, Halloween decor, and flower arrangements throughout. I especially appreciated the memorials of African American history.

Wilma loved the smells of the city, and and the chance to walk and explore. We definitely enjoyed this fun little city and am sure we will return (blog will not be rated).
