The Marina at American Wharf is located in Norwich, Connecticut. It was established in 1988. The Marina at the American Wharf is located at the head of the Thames River, and the mouth of the Yantic River. It is a place for the community to gather and also provides access to local attractions.
We had an Autumn foliage filled Adventure to the Marina at American Wharf. We started off the day at Gillette Castle State Park, and after our other planned Adventures changed (long story) we accidentally located the Marina American Wharf. We began wandering around this small Marina, viewing the boats on the docks, the gorgeous fall colors, and the scenic pathways. The Wharf was simple, but yet had many small features that made our visit just perfect. The Marina was quiet and peaceful. And although there was little to see we still enjoyed our visit to the Marina at the American Wharf (Rating: 3).
PS – Since I have blogged about Gillette Castle State Park several times I did not blog about this spectacular location today, but you can see our last blog at: https://adventuresofshadowandwilma.com/2020/05/10/may-9-2020-gillette-castle-state-park-connecticut/
Nice!

We agree: you have a great idea for photography, especially in the autumn! Really enjoyed the leaf pictures, the Ivy ones, the Wilma ones!
