If you have followed my blog from the beginning you know that I adopted Shadow as a puppy, and about a year later adopted Buster as a puppy.  We had many wonderful years together before experiencing the devastating loss of Buster at just seven.  It took a long time for our hearts to heal, but almost a year after his passing we welcomed little Wilma into our world.  We were devastated to loose Shadow on April 3, 2020.These two precious boys boys will be furever in our hearts! We were recently thrilled to add another amazing rescue, Gus, to our home on June 28, 2021! This Weekly Video/Photo section will allow me to share photos from all four of my rescues, whether it be a precious memory, or a current moment.

Today’s photograph is one of my adorable, sweet Wilma posing with a big grin. I just love this close up portrait of my girl, eager and ready for a game of ball. Definitely a perfect photo for today’s Weekly Photo.

September 18, 2022 – Downtown Ipswitch, Massachusetts

Today Wilma, Gus, and I Adventured to Downtown Ipswitch, Massachusetts. Ipswitch is a coastal town in northern Massachusetts often well known as being the location of Crane Beach, Sandy Point Reservation, and Crane Estate. Ipswitch is a residential community, and also a popular tourist destination.

We had a simple Adventure to Ipswitch. I still am not feeling too great, so thought we would just take a local stroll. I have been curious about Ipswitch having seen signs for the “Riverwalk”, and noticing some other aspects while driving through. Therefore today became the perfect day to explore this town. We parked and spent about one hour walking around downtown. We walked over a bridge referred to as “Riverwalk”, found some detailed and colorful murals, located a unique sculpture, and appreciated the colorful flowers adorning the town and the shops throughout. We also took some time checking out the historic Whipple House and the butterfly garden trails. Far from a fancy Adventure today, but yet glad to wander around the town of Ipswitch today (this blog will not be rated).

Go Pats!!

We are excited about opening day so time for a mini Patriots photo shoot (haha)! We have had a simple weekend as I have been sick although we did manage a local walk yesterday before I started feeling worse. However, today is one of my favorite days of the year, so why not use it as an excuse to blog. Wilma, Gus, and I will be cheering on the Pats today – Go Pats!

Today’s photograph is one of my sweet Shadow, when he was about eight years old. I was studying for a class I was taking and he was right by my side. Shadow was the perfect name for him, and he changed my world forever. So glad he started my life as a crazy rescue Mother. He will furever be a piece of my heart!

Today’s photograph is one of Shadow and Buster at the Basin, in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Although at certain times of year the Basin can be touristy, there are plenty of times you can find it quiet and peaceful. The Basin is full of flowing water, small waterfalls, and it is just gorgeous. I have been there endless times, and just love it. I first discovered the Basin with Shadow and Buster. Although this photograph does not do it justice, the boys sure do look handsome. They will be furever missed:

Here is an adorable photo of my Wilma and Gus, just chilling in the backyard. Gus always likes to get as close to me as possible, while Wilma is ball obsessed, and generally wants me to throw the ball. They are the sweetest and always keep me smiling. Here are my sweet pups 🙂

Happy July 4th!

Wilma, Gus, and I want to wish our friends and followers a very Happy July 4th! We have had a relaxing day and of course our annual hat photo shoot! I was not sure if Gus would warm up to the hats but he did and they both looked absolutely adorable ❤️ Hope you all had a wonderful day as well!

Other Tidbits, Fun, and News

Today is the one year anniversary of precious Gus joining our family! It is one of those special days I will remember furever❤️ We had to pick him up at a quarantine shelter after he came up north. We checked in and soon after he was headed down the hallway. He appeared terrified but as soon as he was near me he fell into my arms… like he knew we were meant to be together ❤️ It was beyond amazing ❤️

I introduced Wilma and Gus slowly and they have become the best of friends, still seeming to bond more and more every day! Gus loves playing, cuddling, going on adventures, and has become quite the kayaking partner. He brings joy and cheer to every day and we were clearly meant to be together ❤️

I must send a shout out to Paws and Claws Rescue and Gus’ foster parents Deb and Al for caring for Gus, placing him with me, and their continued dedication to many more!

Below you will see some photographs from our first meeting, meeting Mighty Gus:

Today’s video is one I find quite entertaining, but I am not sure if that says much (haha). Wilma has decided she loves watermelon, a new thing this year. She was so pleased that Gus assumed this must be something exciting. So I thought it a must that I share this video of family watermelon time! They are adorable ❤️
