Today’s photograph I will title “home sweet home”. We had an amazing road trip and vacation to Florida, and I already miss it. However we do love our house and Wilma and Gus had no problem getting comfy and relaxed. I love this sweet photograph of my amazing pair. Here they are:

The weekly Video/Photo section highlights an Adventure, while I might also sneak in some that are humorous, adorable, or just other fun dog moments. If you have followed my blog from the beginning you know that I adopted Shadow as a puppy, and about a year later adopted Buster as a puppy.  We had many wonderful years together before experiencing the devastating loss of Buster at just seven.  It took a long time for our hearts to heal, but almost a year after his passing we welcomed little Wilma into our world.  We were devastated to loose Shadow on April 3, 2020.These two precious boys boys will be furever in our hearts! We were recently thrilled to add another amazing rescue, Gus, to our home on June 28, 2021! This Weekly Video/Photo section will allow me to share photos from all four of my rescues, whether it be a precious memory, or a current moment.

So today I had to share a photo from the first day I met Gus. You may have seen it in the collage I posted back when we adopted him last June. He was so sweet, cuddly, and just melted in our arms. After the terrifying day with him Sunday (see my last blog)…thankfully ending in a miracle… I felt this was the perfect photograph to share for my weekly section. So glad our precious pup is back in our arms. Here is sweet Gus.

March 11, 2022 – Gus’ First Puppuccino!

Yesterday Gus had his first Puppucinno from Starbucks. As some of you might know a Puppucinno is a cup of whip cream in a deluxe Starbucks cup. Wilma had her first one about one year ago, and of course had to join in the fun having her second. Due to my phone being dead from charge I took these treats home for them to enjoy. Gus was quite thrilled to enjoy this goodie, licking elegantly (haha). Wilma too enjoyed this special treat, licking tastefully (haha). I of course was quite entertained and enjoyed a Chai Creme Frappuccino myself. Fun to enjoy a special treat on this weekend of local walks. Yum!

February 26, 2022 – Forsyth Park – Georgia

Saturday Wilma, Gus, and I Adventured to Forsyth Park in Savannah, Georgia. Forsyth Park is a 30 acre urban park that includes: walking paths, sports fields, a children’s play area, and a water fountain. It is the oldest and largest park in the city of Savannah.

We had a simple adventure to Forsyth Park. It took me some time to find parking, but once I found a spot, I was quite pleased to find parking was free on Saturdays. I was drawn in by the flowers, and benches, and off we went. We checked out the fountain, statues, and saw a variety of vendors from afar. The squirrels were quite the highlight for Wilma and Gus, giving me a run for my money (haha!) The Park was very busy with lots of walkers, runners, and dog friends. I loved seeing the bright green grass and beautiful trees, spanish moss throughout. It was a nice way to stretch our legs as we continued our journey back home to Massachusetts (Rating: 3).

Today’s photograph is one I took at Honeymoon Island in Dunedin, Florida back in our Tampa days. Shadow, Buster, and I were relaxing on the beach after a fun time romping around and swimming. It was one of my favorite places to visit with my amazing boys. Great memories of these special boys!

February 19, 2022 – Seaside Park – Connecticut

Today Wilma, Gus, and I adventured to Seaside Park in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Seaside Park contains 325, including: grassy areas, beachfront, sports fields, and three miles of coastlines. The park also contains Fayerweather island which can be reached by crossing a breakwater.

We had a sun-rising, wind-filled adventure to Seaside Park. We headed off on a big adventure today, and this was the first stop on our journey. We located the park easily and off we headed. The park overall was quiet, few visitors walking, and others sitting in their cars. We followed the paved trail along the shore, spent some time on the beach, and located a variety of statues. On this visit we decided not to visit Fayerweather island, but will have to return to check out this island. Glad we could adventure to Seaside Park today (This blog will not be rated).

Today’s photograph is a selfie I took with Shadow, at one of his favorite spots…the Beach. Shadow was quite the perfect poser, and definitely my Shadow. Always so sweet, and one special travel partner. I sure do miss him! Here we are:
