The weekly Video/Photo section highlights an Adventure, while I might also sneak in some that are humorous, adorable, or just other fun dog moments. If you have followed my blog from the beginning you know that I adopted Shadow as a puppy, and about a year later adopted Buster as a puppy.  We had many wonderful years together before experiencing the devastating loss of Buster at just seven.  It took a long time for our hearts to heal, but almost a year after his passing we welcomed little Wilma into our world.  We were devastated to lose Shadow on April 3, 2020.These two precious boys will be furever in our hearts! We were recently thrilled to add another amazing rescue, Gus, to our home on June 28, 2021! This Weekly Video/Photo section will allow me to share photos from all four of my rescues, whether it be a precious memory, or a current moment.

Today’s photo is of the Queen of the top-hat Wilma Mae! As you may know I am using this month’s Weekly Video/Photo section to highlight some of my favorite Christmas photographs of the pups. This was one of the photographs I took in working on our holiday card for this year. Wilma is a great poser and looked so festive in this snapshot. Hope this brings a smile to your face! Here she is:

This month I decided to highlight some of my favorite holiday photos in my Weekly Video/Photo section, something I have done in the past. As you may know I create a holiday card each year of my pups in their holiday hats. It is very hard to decide which one to use for this section, however this one is definitely one of my favorites of my Shadow. He was a perfect poser and looks just right in his holiday top-hat. This photograph always makes me smile when I see it. Glad to have these photographs to remember this special boy. Here he is:

December 3, 2023 – Homemade Dog Treats

So today I decided to make some homemade pumpkin-peanut butter dog treats for Wilma and Gus. We had another weekend of local walks, between the rain, the Patriots game, and some holiday decorating we decided to keep it simple. So, although no new location to blog about we still got our exercise. After walking today, I mixed up the treats. The cookies were cut as a squirrel, dog, and bone, and although somewhat funny in shape Wilma and Gus had not one complaint devouring them in no time!! A fun little variety in our day!

PS – Gus gets freckles from the rain – so adorable!

Today’s photo is a snapshot of Wilma back in 2017 at Bancroft Castle in Groton, Massachusetts. She was visiting this “castle” with me, and big brother Shadow. It’s a lovely, yet simple “castle” with lovely country views, especially in the Fall. She was posing just perfectly! A must-see for all of my local followers! Here she is:

Today’s photo is a snapshot of Buster taking a nap on big brother Shadow. These two boys were probably the cuddliest of my pairs, just a year apart and both with similar energy as youngers. I often caught them curled up with each other, which will always melted by heart. He had a short life due to his brain tumor, but we definitely enjoyed every moment. Here he is:

Today’s photo is a snapshot of Gus in Franconia, New Hampshire from last month. It was taken on the bicycle trail at the parking for the Basin. We spent some of our time on this path, drawn in by the oranges of the season. Gus was posing brilliantly on this large and scenic rock, a perfect photograph for this week’s Weekly Photo. Here is my handsome boy:

November 2, 2023 – Endless Leaves

This weekend we spent our time on local walks each day, and in our yard filled with endless leaves. Wilma and Gus loved running and playing through the leaves; however, both were hesitant to get into a pile for posing. I am not sure what they thought a pile would involve, yet surprisingly Gus was the brave one. And although my plan was to stay local, partly to rake and work in my yard, I spent more time putzing around and doing other simple projects (haha). Although my yard is far from grand, I am so thankful my dogs have always had this fenced in area full of squirrels, dog beds, and love. I guess we will figure out what to do with all the leaves on another day. Hope your Fall weekend was a good one!

Today’s photo is a snapshot of puppy Shadow after he had gotten in some mischief. If I remember correctly, he had some good entertainment with a large plant. I find this especially funny as I always think of Shadow as my most well-behaved dog, although he did have his expected moments as a puppy. This photograph makes me smile! I sure do miss him! Here he is:

Today’s photo is a snapshot of Wilma and Gus at Colt State Park earlier this month. We did not blog about this Adventure as we have before, but this photograph was the perfect one to share for today’s Weekly Video/Photo section. It was a gloomy day but these adorable still make the perfect photograph. Here they are:

Today’s photo is a photo of me and the boys – Shadow and Buster back in Tampa on a July hike. This is one of my favorite photographs of myself with these two amazing pups, even if the quality is not perfection. We had so many special times, and adventures. Although I wish I had a crew of four, I am thankful to have endless photographs to remember the fun we had. Here they are:
